Good Faith Deposit - Real Estate Transactions
In a real estate transaction, a touchy issue is how much trust
the seller has in a buyer. The existence of a good faith deposit
helps put a seller at rest.
Good Faith Deposit
If you are selling your home, condominium or other real estate,
you should always require a buyer to make a good faith deposit.
The good faith deposit simply establishes that the buyer is
serious and, to some extent, has the financial capacity to
follow through on the purchase.
The amount of the good faith deposit is ...

Leading a Growing Church
Recently I spent the day reflecting on my fumbling attempts to
lead our church in growth. To say that I've felt unprepared for
my current assignment is an understatement...the Three Stooges

my initial list filled three pages, here are four things I wish
someone told me before my boat left the dock:

Believing in Jesus is NOT a Religion, and God is NOT a Christian
What are the major misconceptions by ignorant atheists [Less
than 4% of the world population (www.adherents.com)]? The 'fact'
that we are primarily body, and spirituality comes second is the
first and most important mistake of all with the biggest
consequence of falsehood. When they talk about Jesus'(and His
so-called Church's) violence against the human body, they
misconstrue that human life is 'sacred'. Wrong, people. Our
spiritual life is sacred, and human (3-dimensional) life is
temporary. ...

Without Faith, it is Impossible to Please God
Copyright 2005 Daniel N Brown
The Bible says, "Without faith, it is impossible to please God,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is God, and a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).
Therefore, expectation is the key to receiving from God when you
pray. Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Whatsoever things you desire
when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have
them."
Believe you receive when you pray! What good does it do to pray
without expecting to ...

7 Significant Guidelines about Organ Donation
Tissue donation is a more common option for people wishing to be donors, as there are very few medical reasons (other than having a communicable disease, such as HIV or hepatitis) a person would not be eligible to donate tissue. Corneas or whole eyes, bone, skin, saphenous and femoral veins, and heart valves are tissues that can be transplanted. Great care is taken in the removal of tissues to ensure acceptable presentation of the body for funeral purposes. Generally, donation will not delay ...

An Inclusive Resource to Body Donation
If you are not comfortable with the concept of organ donation because you wish to keep your body or the body of a loved one in tact, or if you are not eligible for organ donation for whatever reason, but still wish to contribute something in death, you might consider donating your body to a medical school or institution. Christian Roommates - Hosting an Event
One of the great joys of living with an apartment full of
Christians is the ability to host great events that glorify God.
With your roommates, you can provide other Christians with
wonderful fellowship opportunities as well as ministry events.
Let's look at a few ways to organize and implement some of these
ideas.
First, consider your various gifts. If one of your roommates is
armed with Bible knowledge and excited about studying, perhaps
you have the beginnings of a weekly Bibles study. If ...

Philadelphia Church of God leads Laodicean era (part 1)
I have proven to myself, most prayerfully, that the Philadelphia
Church of God is the most unique of all the groups who've
distanced themselves from the Worldwide Church of God's

"like the scribes" (Matt. 7:29). I've listened carefully for THE
Voice of the Shepherd, hearing what the Spirit says to God's
Church today, checking out everything with the Bible and what

The Church in Tribulation - Why?
In the past two segments we have discussed the rapture and the
chronology of Revelation and other accounts of the end times,
showing the chronology of events. We have discussed the
importance of the two witnesses. We have clearly shown that
although the church will be persecuted, it will not suffer any
judgment or wrath of God. This is an extremely important
distinction for those with a pre-trib rapture position. The
timeline is clear. But the question remains, why is this
important to God? ...

Up the Mountain of Faith
'Help! Help! No help, I'm sliding!'
'You're on skis, Ashley. That's the point.'
The poor girl at the top of the line headed to the bunny slope
lift was scared to death paralyzed with fear to the point that
any tiny move seemed destined to pitch her down the mountain out
of control. Her friend seemed not to understand the direness of
her situation. To her skiing was easy. She didn't understand,
but I did.
Always longer on doubt and fear than on calm and cool in the
sports arena, I understood. ...

Don't Put Off Faith Until Tomorrow
Most people misinterpret faith as the belief that something
totally unforeseen will miraculously happen to them to improve
their lives. Some of them use faith as a disengaging excuse for
procrastination by internalizing a mentality such as, "I hope
things will work out for me," or "Things will get better for me
tomorrow."
These viewpoints relegate the empowering attributes of hope and
faith to nothing more than dumb luck. But faith isn't something
external or future-based. Faith is internal and ...

Beyond Hope is Faith
I live in a small town named after its Dutch settler, whose name
is long and difficult to spell and pronounce. The town just to
its south is named Hope, and is well known because of its
restored historical status. So, when residents of our town are
asked where they live their frequent response is 'I live beyond
Hope'.
Recently, as I was driving home beyond Hope, I began thinking
about what it really means to live beyond hope. Hope is about
wishing for something to occur in the future. It ...

In a Row or Becoming a Wall?
There is a phenomenon that never ceases to amaze me. I have
observed it many times with countless individuals, businesses,
teachers, churches, non profits and may occur in any setting
where individuals or groups have a vision. A vision for
something grand and glorious. A vision that will have an amazing
impact in their lives and the lives of others. Then what
happens? "I am getting my ducks in a row" comes the response.
Ah, yes. The planning to plan some more and get it all perfect
so that the ...

Faith Does Move Mountains
It never ceases to amaze me.
There you are going about your normal day and you suddenly
realize that you're very worried about something. It sort of
creeps up on you when you feel the muscles in your shoulders
bunch up and you can't seem to get enough sleep, no matter how
hard you try.
Do you know the signs that tell you when you've had enough? No?
Well, learning to recognize them will be a fundamental first
step to helping you to come to grips with your life.
Some people can't sleep, some get ...

FUNDAMENTAL CHURCH FAILURES
Every great human movement toward freedom, whether commercial,
political or religious or a combination thereof, begins with the
determination of concerned men and women to make life better by
resolving recurring human problems. The Renaissance and the Age
of Reason occurred through the efforts of talented people to end
the brutal political, financial and religious abuses common
within Medieval Europe. The Protestant Reformation and the
revival of a personal redemptive relationship with God ...

HITLER & THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION or THE THEOCRATIC STATE
HITLER & THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION or The Theocratic State
By: Douglas William Krieger To understand the appeal, the
absolute, mesmerizing, and intoxicating drive behind Hitler's
success, one must go beyond the inequities of the Versailles
Treaty and delve into the mysterious association that Herr
Hitler placed upon the Christian religion. Don't think that
Adolf was way off into some cultic, overtly demonic world of
fantasy and influence. True, the occult most assuredly was
deeply engaged in his ...
